Philosophy

Based on the evidence that plasticity occurs at the synapses and within the cortex only if experiences are made, the N.A.P. - therapist uses all inputsystems, according to the situation, to enable the individual´s best possible independence in daily life and for participation in socio-cultural and professional life. Functional activities form structures and these are only able to take on the load for which they have been trained. The best possible biomechanical situation is produced so that the brain may experience how it can organize it´s actions. This enables the individual to organize his actions actively instead of being treated passively. In this way he or she may regain access to existing motor programs.

Goals:

  • Further development of the therapy
  • Scientific exchange, Further research of the treatment methods
  • Integration within the health system
